ijimmy.. I am surprised your Omega is not shooting accurate. It is one of the most dependable shooting rifles out there. Normally they tune in real fast. I am wondering if :

You're shooting on a clean barrel
You're swabbing between shots
You're not trying to push the projectile too hard - magnum charges are not always the best
What projectiles you have tried to shoot?
If you're shooting with a scope have you checked your mounts and optics...

just some thoughts.

cayugad , Ive shot tc's shockwaves , hornadys ,and powerbelts , all 250 grain , with 90-100 grains of ffg goex , 777, and pyrodex pellets .
Not happy with the results , my knite was MUCH more accurate .The projectiles are dificult to load , tight . I thought by getting tcs own brand I would eleviate the problem , but to no avail . This year Im going to start with 300 grain shockwaves , but switch out the sabots for harvesters , I miked them and they are 1 1/2 to 2 thousands of and inch smaller , and have no casteing/mold ridge .One of the guys at the gun counter at bass pro said they had some tumbling with the lighter bullets out of the omegas and to try the heavyer bullets , I hope it works as I love the looks and function of the tc . I do swab between shots with a wet patch , and 2 dry , on both sides I have not noticed the crud ring with my gun . I use winchester primers . Any help is appreciated as I want to get this gun dialed in . My idea of a bad group is 5" at 100 yards . Thats been what Im getting , my knite would do 2" all day .

Last year in the heat (73ºs)I was shooting my Black Diamond XR .50 caliber at the 100 yard range. I had been shooting all day different projectiles when the UPS man brought me some new kinds of bullets. Now granted the rifle was filthy and the barrel really hot to the touch, but I wanted to shoot these new bullets that I had been expecting. These were the 375 grain Buffalo Bullet SSB sabots. Ishot them with 100 grains of Goex 2f. These are a spitzer point boattail bullet. The best thing about them are they are just slightly undersized, so they load real easy. You can buy them at Cabela's and different places on line.I get excellent groups shooting them. If you run across some of them give them a try. They also make a nice elk load, so a whitetail does not stand a chance.

Maybe these will help...
