Black Bear

Any Montana Hunters Killed any Black Bears yet?
I have been out a couple of times and seen no sign.I seen a few tracks around feb. while trapping down low.I sat a stand a few times and called a coyote in and then a small 100lb er but I want a bigger bear.

Over here in the Idaho Panhandle we didn't really have a winter and the bears were out and about very early - unfortunately, there wasn't much food for them. Seen three, they looked pretty ragged.
