Default calling bear

just wondering if anyone has had any luck calling in black bears in eastern US(South Carolina, Georgia, or North Carolina) with predator calls...

Never called outside of Washington state. But I have done well with predator calls and cow elk calls. I love to see one with slober all over his face.

I'll let you know how it works on Kodiak brownies in about three weeks. I leave April 22 for an eight day brown bear hunt of Afognak and plan to use a predator call.

Maybe you should take an electronic call full of gun shot sounds... LOL

I am getting the shivers (in a good way) just thinking about calling in a brownie.
Man what a rush that would be.
Good luck.

Thanks for the encouragement RH.

I have to admit, I am a little nervous about this hunt. Those coast brownies are just tremendous and I understand they can take a pounding before calling it quits.
