Saw the Largest Animal on Land in North America.

Last week while I was out in California my brother and I took a trip south of San Franciso to a state park on the coast. It is the time of year that the huge Elephant seals migrate down the Pacific Coast to breed in California. The large males can weight an excess of 4,000 lbs. We witness a couple of heavy weight fights and just missed a baby being born by a few minutes. There were lots of pups with their mothers. Quite the site being there and seeing that first hand.

Info from a web site stated they are larger than the Walrus. The largest on record was 18 ft. long and weight 6,000 lbs.
