Default how to determine live weight for any game animal?

it seems as though i saw this someplace, but i can't recall the where. i would like to know how to determine the live weight of the most common game animals that we have, and vice verse. it would be nice to be able to compare weights instead of scores when talking about deer, for example( scores don't mean squat!), plus when someone says that an animal weighed an estimated 1000lbs on the hoof, what did that translate into dressed.
