I would say the 201 unit. Unfortunately, if you began putting in for points 10 years ago, you would still have to wait four or five more years to draw for the early bull tag.
IMO, the bulls aren't that much bigger in areas where you have to wait years and years to draw. However, what you do get is access to areas with fewer hunters in a unit, and I guess that could translate into a better opportunity and a better "experience". For the 2002 and 2003 seasons (201 unit), the success rate averaged 95% in the early bull season.
In the 201 unit, last year there were 1111 applicants for 17 tags. I was driving through the 15 unit and on one county road, I bet there were over 50 camps set up with 5-6 guys (and ATVs) per camp. No thanks...
