Default Best Gun?

I'm looking for a good all around gun from deer to moose including bear, and was wondering what you guys thought about a .300. i want a good long range gun that won't tear a whitetail up but that i could still use on something like a moose or bear.

Since you're a marine stud, I'd recommend a 300 Remington Ultra Mag.
Might want to use Barne's X bullets on the deer though!

I found the 300 Ultra alittle tough on deer, not as bad as the .338 ultra.
The 300 ultra is a good gun,and will kill anything you wan't.

I fell the gun that best suits ya is any of the .30 cal mag's or you might consider the .338 Win Mag.It is one of my favorites for all hunting.

For the hunting you are talking about I would look at the 300 WSM. The 300 Win Mag is a proven caliber as is the 30-06.

I would go for a .300 Wby. Mag., or .300 RUM. Good luck.
