Young Lady With 1st Elk @ 13!

Her dad has the best photos of her with the elk (cow) on his digital camera so I don't have those but....

Here she is at surely no more than a buck twenty and 13 and took her elk with a 30-06. With the exception of folks with physical injuries, I just don't get some of these "girly cartridge/too much recoil/can I use THIS on elk instead?" threads....

EKM........be careful referring to some complainers as girlymen or using "girlycartridges"!!! I think this young lady shows that these guys fall somewhere below that. They should aspire to her "girly" height!!

I'm glad to see this. Young ladies like to hunt !! My wife is my best hunting partner !! Also the 30-06 is IMO a good choice for elk. I've been using it for the past 20 years without a hitch.
