From the news this morning I heard 53% voted no (not to outlaw baiting) with 87% reporting. Here are a couple links too

I am back recently from Maine. The vote was close 51% to 49% (thats what I heard) We
will be hunting over bait next year. But if you think the out of state tree huggers are going to stop their assault your wrong. We are going to have to watch our backs. But not just in Maine in your state too.
