Iraq Elk Hunting.

Home for my 2 week r and r from Iraq. Went hunting for a week. Seen 28 bulls in 7 days. Seen over 100 mule deer bucks. About five where shooters. Shoot one 24 incher and lost him, started raining. Other then that hunter or but off. One 310 6 point at 20 yards but he seen me draw. Was a fun trip either way.

Hey Will, glad to see you got to shoot at something that didn't shoot back, are you all done for this year ? I hunted northern Ca. this last week but didn't see anything that needed shooting, but it helped me get into shape for Wyoming next week and then Colorado 2 wks later, hope you really enjoyed your r+r, looking forward to doing in some caribou when you get home next year, and don't forget I owe you a pig hunt, Bill
