Default Setting My Sights

Which game would you suggest I work towards for my first big hunt? I live in the So. tip of Illinois so Deer and turkeyhunting are my background. I was thinking elk/moose? I just want to set a realistic goal for myself and have something to towards.

It will be bowhunting, I'm nineteen, and it'll be a few years

BTW Brown/Grizzly bears are no-brainers, but are black bears too dangerous for a first hunt?

i think you have the last part mixed up

grizzlies and brown bears seem more dangerous than black bears to me

LOL....no, by "no-brainers" I meant that I thought it quite obvious that these are extremely dangerous game.
