Default Hunting Trip

Just wondering for those of you guys who do/have hunted multiple big game species, what is a good animal to hunt for experience and value. I am looking to book/plan my next hunt after I graduate college this december and was looking for some input. I honestly hope to hunt everything in North America in my lifetime, so any critter is open for suggestion. I have taken whitetails and a nice antelope. Thanks for any input, Adam

I also want to keep the hunt under 4000 dollars for the most part.

I have enjoyed some good hunting trips for moose and Black bear in Sask. In my opinion that would be worth checking into. You can order hunting info and outfitter lists from the Government in Sask. The outfitter that I have been hunting with up there is retiring soon. His father passed away and it took both of them to run his outfit so he will stay in the fishing and give up the hunting.

Put in for the draw hunts.

I love to hunt the Oryx. Mean critters !!!

I also hunt Mule Deer,Sheep,
Black Bear, HOGGGGGGS, (cant seem to get enough, (Can also be some pretty nasty critters).
Elk, And would love to come across a moose hunt in the future.

I do alot of Yodle dog , and Prarie Dog hunting as well.

Heck this could go on and on. If there is a season for it here then I am there.

Well I'm hooked on elk hunting so I'm biased but for me nothiung compares to a big elk hunt in big country. With $4000 you've actually got a pretty good budget there. You can hire an outfitter or get private land access. But I'll tell you in the long run it'll cost you a lot more than $4000 cause you'll be hooked.

My ultimate dream hunt would be to hunt moose with a bow. I can always get deer/elk/antelope and bear tags but I have never gotton drawn for a moose tag. The sad part about it is that I got the occasional moose that come though the property here. Bobby

I would recommend a Pronghorn Antelope/Pheasant combo hunt. Antelope season opens around the same time as pheasants in most states.
