Default It's Almost Time!

It is almost time to head to the woods for archery elk and mule deer.
13 days of pure torture! It rained and lightning and thundered last night and is a cool 61 degrees with a slight breeze.
I opened my cow elk scent wafers and my earth cover scent and it almost put me back in the woods.I have a few things to do before I am ready like de-scenting everything and getting my tags.Everything else is pretty much ready even my new bow.
I just got back from West Yellowstone and seen some nice bulls a few were still in velvet and a lot of them were white antlered.Nothing like seeing a bunch of big bulls to make you want to go hunting even more.
Hope your days fly by until the season opens and your season is a long and rewarding one.
Good Luck
Elkshed

Same to you, I'm ready down in here in Hamilton. Frothing at the mouth actually, I walk by small saplings these days and fight the urge to go bump'em around with my noggin!
