The Outdoor Channel E-mailed me... anyone else get one?
Got an e-mail regarding Bill Taulman from the Outdoor Channel. Did anyone else get one? I'm not sure how to take it. But I'm hoping for the best. Here's what they sent:
Dear friends and viewers,
Recently there has been a court ruling that affects the issuance of big
game tags in Arizona. The Outdoor Channel has received a considerable
number of e-mails in which we are accused of "supporting" George Taulman
(and USO) or being an actual business partner of his. To be clear, The
Outdoor Channel DOES NOT "support" George Taulman or his company nor do
we condone his actions. We are not now nor have we ever been a business
partner of George Taulman or USO.
As with the many independent producers we deal with, he has contracted
with us to air his television program beginning this October. This is a
legal and binding contract. When we entered into this contract last
spring, we were not aware of his pending court action.
Therefore, we have requested that our legal counsel conduct a review of
our contractual obligations to Mr. Taulman.

Sounds like a good thing to me. Those of you planning to boycott The Outdoor Channel can rest easy now knowing that they neither support nor condone George Taulman. It also sounds to me like they're trying to get out of the contract they signed with him somehow.

heh I live in Arizona if you want my 2 cent Bill Taulman and the USO is the biggest crock of horse Cr@p ever. taulman's the biggest A$$hole ever, nothing but bull Sh!t flows from his mouth like a severe case of diareah. he can go to H3LL for all I care, All he is, is a hemroid on every true American patriot and hunters A$$. He seriously needs to be sodomized with a baseball bat without the decency of any KY so he can feel how badly he $cre\/\/ed Arizona.

It's George but I got your drift. Just make sure you make bat love to the right guy. Highdesert-are you located in one of the impoundments north of Pleasant with the gun towers? Gotta think George will stay far away from Arizona for a while considering some of our boys are a little bit on the edge!!

I understand your position High Desert, but I know that your particular medice would remidy the situation. Ol' George might enjoy it. I think it is best that we try to hurt him where he will really feel it....his wallet. Continue to notify his sponsors and supporters that you will boycott their products as long as they continue to support him and then follow through with it.
This is all about money for the USO. And we should try to ensure that he is on the losing end of the all mighty $$$$$.
