Southern Oregon Black Bear Hunting

My Brother in law lives in Medford and has been asking me to go out there on a Black Bear Hunt. I think I am going to do it this spring. Anyone hunt the Cascades for black bear and how was the hunting?

i have seen alot of bears in the cascades never hunted them in the spring but i know some people who do in southern oregon,I hunt the north coast alot and they are thick up there
