What is your favorite Big Game animal to hunt and why?
My favorite is big bull elk.It is exciting, and a challenge to harvest such a magnificent animal.

I have to put my vote in for black bear here in Pa. The rush you get one you see one in season is amazing. We see them all year long around camp but it's pretty tough to see them in the woods. When you finally do get a shot at one it's almost like he's a ghost and you can't believe he's right in front of you. I have never fealt a rush like that in my life. Man now I can't wait for november.

There are many species on my plate I love hunting. Mule deer are the meat and potatoes (most of time is spent hunting muleys) but elk is the dessert. I always feel like a kid on x-mas morning when I go elk hunting. I like the bulls a little more but I even love hunting the cows.

Gotta agree with Elknut and Idaho. Hunting rutting bulls in September with archery equipment is A-#-1. Nothing I have experienced so far even comes close.

I will have to say of the animals I can hunt here in my province that I will have to agree with the other in Elk. I can't single out one aspect for why I say Elk, it is the whole package.

That being said, be it getting a Bull Moose going in rut or chasing big deer (Whitetails or Mulie's) they all are pretty close in my heart and have attributes to each species making them challenging, exciting and rewarding.
