I drew a deer tag!! Woohoo!!

Well, just checked my credit card again, and I have a $30 charge for a big game tag (the cost of the deer tag) plus 3- $10 charges for the other three PIW species that I applied for which means I didn't draw any of those. Also means that I didn't draw antelope or elk, or the charges haven't been made to the credit card yet.

Woohoo!! I am soooo excited. Last time I was able to hunt was two years ago, and the biggest deer we saw was a mediocer 3x3, that was like 600 yds away. I am pretty sure I drew my favorite area, (Nevada 10 Late) as it was my first choice. Now I can't wait until October 23rd!!!!!!!

I'am glad I don,t have to draw for deer tags. I can buy 3 deer tags for Ohio and 2 deer tags for Pa. and I also hunt West Virginia where you can buy 9 deer tags and shoot 5 bucks. It's great to be a deer hunter where I live.--Charlie brown have a great hunt.

Charlie congrats! Just wondering do they have general season archery for deer in Nevada. I don't know how you could stand going two years without hunting, I feel sorry for you. You should come up north to hunt Idaho in your off years!

Nope, no general season for archery either. Every season is a draw, which is Archery, ML, and Any Legal Weapon. I have wanted to go to Idaho (I'm not that far away), just have never had the money at the time, and last year I was on dialysis.
