Default which group to hunt with

Hey y'all
I'm kind a new at this but heres my question
I moose hunt with a group of guys that are very good hunters. They're perfectionists. They always fill the tags. but most of them are @#$%holes.
If I make a mistake, well i just can't make mistakes! and the 18hr. drive bothers the crap out of me but there are alot of moose there.
I got invited to go with another group of guys that are a little more laid back but where they go they are only guaranteed 1 tag and i'm also not sure how dedicated they are to going every year.
If I leave the group i'm with now, i'm out for good
what would you do

This is a easy question. Go with the experienced guys, learn as much as you can from them. If you make a mistake just suck it up, everyone makes mistakes. Normally if you get a ribbing it mean they accept you, if they stop the ribbing then watch out. You can get years of knowledge from those guys you can apply in the future.

If I was spending my valuable vacation time and the group I went with was not fun and I had more fear over making a mistake or dread the 18 hour ride, I wouldn't go again. My vacation time, especially if taken away from my family is WAY to precious to waste on something that I won't enjoy. The meat will be gone shortly, the memories will be there forever.

Amen, the experience is more important than the kill IMHO. The kill makes it that much better, but I remember the experience and hanigng out with friends.
