There are lots of good places to hunt old rubber nose. Alaska maybe your best bet if you are looking for a giant plus sixty inch bull. Otherwise, Canada maybe a cheaper option.
Marty, where abouts are you from? This can have a direct bearing on your travel costs. I'm in Ontario, but would tell you to seriously consider Newfoundland. Great people there, too.
What is your priority?Do you want a huge set of antlers or just a moose?If you want a moose ,newfoundland is reasonably riced.If you want huge antlers go to northern B.C.,yukon,northwest territories or alaska.
I live in Colorado and I have never hunted Moose before. I think it would be great to shoot a large Moose but realisticly my wife and I would be alright with any size. I think maybe even a caribou hunt also.
