Guys I was wondering what you thought about this? Four years ago I started applying to Maine for a moose permit. When I started to apply you could buy as many as 6 chances for thirty dollars and you received any extra chance for every year you applied. Well,,,, last year they introduced the oppertunity to buy 10 chances for 50 dollars. One chance was 10, 3 was 20, and 6 was 30, 10 for 50. If that wasn't bad enough, this year you can buy "blocks" of 10 for 53 dollars each. Why try and earn the extra chances if they're only going to prostitute themselves with this new system? They don't offer the resident any more than 6 chances at 23 dollars. The license already has a steep increase for out of state hunters, and I have no problem with that. Do you agree with their knew process? You know this year they have a referendum on their ballot concerning baiting, and running of bears, along with trapping of them. Sine I've hunted in Maine, I was sent a solicitation for funds to help fight such legistration. Honestly,,,, I don't know what to think about all of this, but I know I'm not real happy with their changes.

The Maine system is turning into a rich man's game. It use to be the guy who makes $6 an hour could only by 1 chance and the billion could only get one chance. Now you can get the once chance, but the billion just bought 10,000. It is a bunch of bs.
