Default January's BIG game hunt

when the hunting seasons end and the fishing seasons are about to start there is always room for wabbits i guess i could hunt coyotes also but wabbits taste better

all these were taken with the .22 pistol in the picture 6 out of 7 were shot in the head

[]not real sure on the ethics of hunting rabbits, but most were on the run, if you wait for them to stop you might never see them again.[]
the target is smaller than a baseball and moving extremely fast
the last part of this post was to express the SHOOTING[] ability however they were all taken within 35 feet of me so i guess that makes me a HUNTER also[][]

I love rabbits! I shot 12 of our little western cottontails 2 weeks ago and just love the great flavor.

Nice shootin', great eatin'. Congrats!! And I gather these are cottontails? Even a tougher target than our snowshoes.

Nice hunting and from what you said, that was damn good shooting. I know its hard enough to hit them with a .410 little lone a .22 pistol.

thank you for the compliments on my shooting ability

however i put that on there (kinda being a jacka$$) because there was a topic in the deer hunting forum (is it hunting... or shooting) and i was a little bent out of shape over atlasmans view in that thread

on another note i took 6 more rabbits the next day (all head shots)
and i got 10 today 6 head and 4 in the ribs or high spine
