Default All the best in the new year

I'm looking forward to the end of 2003, it's been a bad year for me, lost my house in a bushfire, and could have lost my life. The two dogs I owned are dead one died the next day the other died later after I bought a Drahthaar to replace the the first one. It was a black lab a fine dog. The drahthaar is doing really well. I think this is what has stuck to me and my family, a friend told me about a giveaway yellow lab I was sceptical but the son wanted it, he has been good company to the drahthaar bitch. After living in the bush for so long it has been hard living in the town, hope to be back on my old site in 2005. After a huge bushfire like we had, one of the animals to be sighted was a deer, a real survivor. I work in the bush, and the most numerous animal is the flie after a fire. Anyhow like they say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Have gun will travel,

Sorry to hear about your losses, I hope the coming years will be better.

This may or may not comfort you about the loss of your dogs, but I too lost one of my dogs 2 years ago, had to put her down because of cancer, had her for 12 years. Just after puting her down there was an article in our local paper from a vet., it was long so I'll try to make it short. The Vet. went to the home of a friend to put a sick pet down and they was trying to fiqure out how to explain it to their 4 yr. old son.

The young man spoke up and said: "I know why pets' live shorter lives than us." "Everybody is born so that they can learn how to live a good life-loving everybody and being nice, right?" "Well, animals already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long."
