Of course it isn't particularly fair to judge if one wasn't there, but

I've heard one of the pet peeves of PH's are clients who pause to admire their first shot handy work instead of keeping shooting until the critter is down and out and don't get up anymore. Appears to have happened twice in that clip.

Exciting footage though and a SUPER camera man -- it is a miracle someone didn't get shot in that crowd! Thanks for sharing!

Three thoughts the hunter hit the lion with the first shot, but was oftly slow with the second shot.

It kind of looked like a fence behind that lion [:'(][:@], I wander if this was a canned hunt.

He is really lucky that the lion did not get him by the neck. The slow motion re-play leaves your blood cold.

Someone posted that the history on this video is that lion is in fact a park cat and a trouble maker who needed to be culled.
