I'd send that article to the CO officials and ask why the guy wasn't prosecuted because maybe he did lie at the checkpoint. If there is no statute of limitations on that, and there probably isn't, the guy should be prosecuted 7 or 8 years after the fact since that article was back in 2010. He wouldn't be the first idiot that put stuff on the net or on paper and got nailed later by Officials that are notified of a possible violation and look into it.

Glad I solved the case for us that easy, LOL! I'm glad they changed that making it illegal because that old bear was probably dang near in a hibernating state and IMHO that wasn't very sporting to take one like that!

Yeah, they changed a lot here. They cut out the spring hunt, baiting, and hounds. I don't care about baiting and hounds, but the spring hunt is missed.
