First time going to Idaho bow hunting. First week in September. I'm just looking for what to expect, weather, are elk bulging at this time.. are there alot of hunters in this unit.

I doubt they will be talking much the first week of September. I live farther to the south in CO but we normally don't hear much talking until about the 3rd week of September. It might happen earlier farther north in ID, however.
