There has been some fairly large bears shot up here so far.. There has also been quite a few with the white markings on their chest.. I will try to update the biggest one I know of this evening if I can get the time to..

In a recent poll we are in the lead by only 1.4 % with 5 % undecided.. So it is going to be a tough fight all the way to the end of it.. Hopefully with the new adds that will soon be hitting the air waves along with tv messages we will win this battle and send HSUS packing..

So far bikerman9967, from what info I have is a bear hitting the scale at 463lbs for our biggest to date.. I am thinking that will be changing as well as, I have seen some really big bruins some of the guys have posted from their trail cams.

Big bear that is for sure.. Here is another monster that a guy has on his cam.. He will only come around at night and unfortunately there is 2 sows hanging around as well. One sow has 3 cubs and the other has 1 cub. He is hoping that they will be leaving soon so he can set up a snare to catch the big boy with..

I almost thought the bear you have posted was the same one.. LOL then I realized that the bear you have posted is to narrow on the back end of it.. Although this guy has a couple of bruins showing up at different sites..

I certainly thank everyone who has responded, for all the info. While my first choice is to hunt Maine I am also looking into Idaho just in case. Do to my job I have to put in for vacation in October for next year. Anyone have recomendations for an Idaho bear hunt. I've requested info from Weitas Creek Outfitters. I supose Canada would be an option but I dont know how much of a hassel getting a long gun across the border would be.
