Default Maine moose hunt zone 1

Hello all,

Anybody have any advise to share about hunting moose in zone 1 during Octobers season?
I have taken two moose in the past, but am not familiar with zone one at all.
Any advise would be appreciated.

I have no knowledge of Maine moose, but welcome to the site and congrats on taking two already. That one in your avatar is a mighty fine specimen!

Unfortunately I can not help you out in that zone.. I do know from what I have heard it is about the best zone you could get for a moose.. I have sent you a PM to try and direct you where some one may be more used to that zone and good luck on tagging another moose..

Thanks Topgun. I shot that one 13 years ago. 52" spread, 800lbs and one fine eating animal.

Don't shoot one while it's in the water. Congrats on your draw, and good luck!
