Well, been back for a while, long enough to get the office back in shape, the kids calmed down and life generally back to normal. Also had time to go to Iowa for the annual pheasant opener weekend with the family.
As for the hunt. We had great weather, bluebird days and crystal clear nights. A beautiful full moon and stars abound..........overall crappy weather for the hunt.
Only one of six tags filled, not mine, and that with a cow. I personally discovered a few things. One. I was not in the shape I thought I was[X(]. I now trust horses alot more than I did

. I still really don' t like heights a whole lot

(Must be the flat lander in me)
We used a group called Lost canyon ranch out of Dolores Co. They are under new management from a few years ago, and from what we heard, it was not good before. We had great guides, a nice camp and beautiful landscape. I really should have gotten more pictures, but I was to busy holding onto the saddlehorn.

Well, at least I can laugh about it now.
I highly recomend the Lost Canyon Ranch as the hospitality was excellent as were the facilities. We will be going back again!!!
