Sheep Hunt in CO
Hello everyone. I just wanted to share a picture of my successful sheep hunt. I shot him on Sept 16. It was a 300 yard shot with a 300 RUM- double lung- went 15 yards and fell over. He is a respectable 3/4 curl. I was happy with him. Took a long time to get him packed off the mountain.

He was 7 1/2 years old, and I got him in S4. It was the toughest hunting that I have ever done, but I will do it again. If I read the regs right, I can apply for a desert bighorn next year. Does that sound right?

Yes. that' s right-----I applied for the unit down here next to Cortez S64. I know where they are but never drew a tag. Back to getting points for Rocky Mtn bighorns & hope to get a tag in 4 or 5 years. My ram was also 7 years old, he was 3/4-7/8 curl. Had 15" bases. Any points for goats? Took me 13 years to draw that tag.
