Rifle Recomendations for Big Game Hunting.

When you select a caliber and rifle, make SURE the stock length is correct for you. It will improve the shooting hunting experience immensely. Also anything like a 7mm08 or 260rem or 6.5creedmore is ideal for a ladies big game rifle. Good luck. Let us know how you make out.

Savage lady hunter in a 7mm-o8. You would be amazed at how much a well fitted rifle stock will cut down on felt recoil. These guns were designed by Savage specifically to fit women shooters and the 7mm-08 is a great low recoil cartridge. I have shot just about everything with the 7mm-08 and it has never disappointed me. The 270 or 308win would be a great second choice IMO. You owe it to yourself to get down to the gun dealer and handle one of these, I doubt that you will be disappointed.

What ever caliber you choose, put a SIMS pad on. It makes a BIG difference.
Option #1: As stated above the 270 or 308. Both great choices with a SIMS pad.
Option #2: As stated above, get something like a 30-06 and use the reduce recoil ammo and a SIMS pad. Supposed to be enough power out to 200 yards. You can then use regular ammo once you heal
