Default pics and short story antelope

took the wife and boy out antelope hunting this morning
we left around 5 to drive the 180 miles to get to saratoga (the only place i could draw a buck tag this year)
as we got there it was just getting light and there was antelope everywhere
we saw 150 + before we got to the area (52) where we could hunt
the BLM land proved to be harder to hunt than the private we had seen all the antelope on but with some luck and alot of glassing and a bit of skill on my wifes part (keeping the baby quiet while stalking up to them) we both ended up with a speed goat to take home

me and my son Damon his first hunting trip at 9 months

my wife and her first buck hes just a button but it leaves her room for a bigger and better one next year

I think it takes more skill to keep a baby quiet than it does to shoot a speed goat. Congrats!

1eye, Saratoga is my favorite hunting place. Normally camp right on Lake Saratoga (great fishing), spend every night soaking in the hot springs.

Try to get ahold of Steve Loose, he is a wildlife biologist for the area (lives in town) and has always help me and my crew out when hunting the area.

1eye do you hunt muleys or whitetail
we seen both while we were there. we were a little low for elk
the reason i was wondering i have been wanting to hunt whitetail but dont know much about them and would need a little help if i ever make the decision to hunt them
