RE: Don' t Forget!!!!!!!
This reminds me of a situation I was in a few years ago. My old chevy blazer did a good job of getting me and my two hunting buddies into the woods for a week' s hunt, but when we were ready to leave the battery was dead! Being 40 miles or so from the nearest town, it was not a good situation! Luckily I hiked only 3 miles before finding some hunters. Unfortunately they only spoke french, so it took a while for me to explain to them that I needed help. Eventually they understood though, and drove me back to the blazer and gave me a boost.
Definitely a good idea to maintain your hunting vehicles, and always have a backup plan when going into remote areas. Keep a survival kit in the vehicle so you will be prepared if you do have to stay in the woods longer than expected.
