Bullet suggestions for 7rem Mag for Elk?

Factory ammo suggestions for elk, please? I have reloads that shoot well but they are NBT & SST 150grainers and more for deer. I was thinking 140 or 160 gr failsafes or Nosler partitions. Any others???

If 160-grain Nosler Partitions shoot well in your rifle I would use them.

go with the 160 grain fail-safes.they work great on moose,so shouldent have much of a problem on elk.the 160 federal premiums also work good

I have used 140gr partitions myself for several elk and moose and they worked fine.I would also try the 140gr failsafe.

I would go with a 175 gr. Barnes X, Nosler Partition, Swift A-Frame, Trophy Bonded Bear Claw, or Win. Fail Safe. Good luck.

I would say 140 grain X bullet or Failsafe would work real well as well as a 140 or 160 grain partition...

Thanks guys for your response. I am heading to the range to find my elk medicine, as usual I will let my rifle decide which one comes & which one stays
