no permit........NOW WHAT

I was booked in with a Montana outfitter for antelope, all i needed was that permit. OUCH, now i know how charlie brown feels with that football.
PLEASE HELP, I need last minute advice on some guided hunts. i' ll hunt sparrows with a slingshot, as long as the guide works hard. The price is not really the point , i just don' t want to end up telling a horror story of a bad hunt/bad guide.
Please give me some advice of hunts you' ve been on that went well and you would refer to others.

Pheasants, Sharptail Grouse, Merriam' s Wild Turkeys, Prairie Dog, Coyotes, and on and on.
Don' t cancel your Montana trip that quick. Come on out and do some of the " over the counter" stuff while getting in some good quality scouting time!
