23 is in the range of the Western Arctic Caribou Herd which is the largest in Alaska. They're highly migratory so depending on the time of year there may or may not be any right around Buckland. The unit as a whole has some great 'bou hunting opportunities. Wolves are hit and miss anywhere in Alaska. 23 requires a non-resident wolf tag, but it's only $30 so you might as well get one just in case. You can get the regs and other info at the ADFG website:
