anyone know anything about elk hunting arizona?
Im taking my son up to flagstaff to hunt elk in a unit 6a cow elk youth hunt. I have been told that spot and stock is the best way to hunt these elk but have also been told to hunt in a ground bllind by stock tanks. Another concern i have is that unit 6a has a highly concentrated amount of hunters around mormon lake. Is there a less dense concentration elsewhere? I have been scouting and have seen many elk but cannot find a stable amount of elk in any place except around mormon lake. any suggestions? anything helps.
