bear hunting public ground.
I like to do unguided hunts. where i take everything i can fit in my backpack and head out for a week or so. i went to Idaho and done a backpack hunt with a few buddies last month. I ended up getting me a decent black bear. we went in the bitterroot/selway wilderness.
do any of you guys know where i could go and do another bear hunt like this that has a good population of bears ? any more information would be great.
