I have drawn an early bull rifle tag in 23. I am interested in any information, suggestions, or advice. I have hunted elk over the years but have never had a trophy tag like this one. Would it be wise to get a guide? Thank you in advance for you help.
I got drawn for a good tag to so I know whats going through your head. The way I have found to help is spend as much time as possible in the unit. I have gone scouting 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Every time I go I see more elk and larger bulls. Its really boosted my confidence. A guide is so expensive. The cheapest I think you will find would be around $150 a day. Im not sure how long you plan on hunting but I didnt want to pay that for up to 14 days!
