MT falls short...
Just read it on another site, apparently MT had 17,000 big game combo tags to offer this fall, only received 15,000 applications.
So those who applied for the big game combo had a 100% draw, and now something like 2000 tags are left for OTC.
Not to mention those who only applied in order to apply for a limited area, who will go on to return the tag for a 80% refund...
I assume tag fees will come down next year in order to sell more tags...
It would be nice if MT would allow a non-res to apply for only a special elk tag without having to draw a general tag first.
