Default New to elk! unit 62 colorado

Hey... Just curious, I applied for a muzzleloader unit 62 colorado tag and I am wondering if I should count on getting drawn or not... Any idea at my odds? Also, where should I focus in 62?

2010 -

313 Applications, for 150 Tags. Last year took 0 Points as resident to draw tag, and 2 preference points as non resident. 98 Tags to residents and 52 to Non Residents. Now as another fact of information take it for what its worth, they have harvest success on antlered elk for 2010 for All seasons as 16%, so good luck. Its a unit with great potential. Just going to take some work. Its usually really nice up there during that season.

Thank you so much... So I had better cross my fingers, because we are on a party hunt and the alternative is the archery over the counter. Wish me luck. BB

So everyone in your group has to have at least 2 points as a nonresident. Your group application will go in as the one who has the fewest points. With 4 guys, if 3 have 10 points and 1 has 0, then your group goes in as a 0.

It's like txhunter said so if you don't have the points, start tightening up your archery skills.
