The problem is we don't always notice it's an old thread right away, and read the whole thread. It's a waste of time, and the original OP is usually long gone as are some of the members who posted in the thread.
If you have something to say. Just start a new thread. Others can use search just like you do. No need to bring up old threads.

Yeah...like I already said in my last post...I'll start a new thread next time. "common sense dictates" that this issue was addressed and continuing to talk about it or say the same thing over and over is redundant and pointless, especially in a "dead thread."
