I am not a bear hunter, but I would say any one of those would do just fine. Given the choice though, I would probably take the 30/30 or the .308.

Oh, and go HOKIES!

People routinely take them with .357 magnum revolvers. Any of the rifles you mentioned should be fine.

why not use archery if you have it. if not most any caliber that you would use for deer

I've taken
2 with Rem Mag 7mm
1 with a 50 cal muzzle loader
1 with a bow


Shot placement is the key to a quick kill. Most cal will work, you just want to make sure were you hit the vitals. A poor shot even with a big bore and you'll have a hard time finding your bear.
