Default Mulie buck

A buck I shot Friday morning.

First trip out.

Second trip out.

It was about five miles from where the buck was to the truck. Fortunately there is a closed road that covered about four miles of it. 95% a down hill coast with the biggest challenge being to keep the speed to a sane and safe level.

Good idea though if you have a road you can follow.

Very good looking buck, and great idea using the bike!

I have hunted deer on a bike for the past 12 years. Gets me back about 5 miles on public land where vehicle access is only for handicapped.

I have a 2 wheel deer hauler from Cabelas that I fasten to my seat and off you go. I can haul out my tresstand and a deer along with a backpag pretty easily. 100% dirt roads after a 1/2 mile drag from my stand.

Shot at least 10 deer that way. Have never one time seen an archer back there. Rifle season it is a pumpkin patch.
