Can i hunt freely in open areas in Cabelas Big game hunter 2008?

or i hv to go through story...as we do in rpg games.
i want to hunt like hunting unlimited 2010 in open ground.

If you like hunting games get a game called The Hunter you can find it at http://www.thehunter.com/ That is the best hunting game I've seen so far it is an open style hunting that you can hunt Mule Deer, Whitetail, Elk, Boar, Blacktail, Turkey, and Coyote. I might be missing a one or two but either way its a great game.
