Default mulie questions?

Yesterday when making a mineral lick, I came across several mulies on my land, one of which being of a nice buck. the privite property i hunt on abuts public land, so when hunting seson comes around hunters scare the deer away. any ideas on how to make the deer feel like my property is a "safe spot".

P.S. my property is full of brush and thick vegitation that would make the deer feel more secure than the recently logged public land, after seeing big patches of flattened grass i suspect that the deer may already be bedding down on the property so, how could i make it more appealing to them?
