Anyone ever use a hammock tent?
I'm looking at staying on the mtn. every day that I hunt elk this fall, instead of back down to camp every night and then back up the hill in the morning. I ran into another elk hunter last year that said he was using a hammock tent and it got me thinkin'. So I've done some internet search on them and I see there are several makers of them and now can't decide which I want to buy. SO I'm looking for info. from anyone else that may be using, or have used, a hammock tent while elk hunting. Which do you have and would you recommend it?
This will be used during archery season here in CO., although I see they make a 4 season hammock tent too and I found a Utube video of a couple guys using them in -25F weather.
