Default RMEF letter on the effects of wolf reintroduction

You may find this letter from the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation to the "Defenders of Wildlife" rather interesting.

Great post. It's almost not worth going to Yellowstone anymore. You see so few Elk and it almost takes a miracle to see a Moose. If I want to see Bison I can go to Custer in SD. I've seen all the geysers, fountains, and paint pots I need to so instead of going to Y-stone from now on I'll hit Rocky Mountain NP in Colorado. I like to see the herds of Elk.

This letter has been posted before and the issues within discussed more times than I can count on these forums but it's good to see it again. We must not forget these issues since they aren't going away.

That is a great letter and so true. I don't think we should let wolves go extinct, but this is ridiculous!

Wolves are nowhere near extinct. They're all over Canada and it's the Canadian wolf that's in Y-Stone.
