Montana resident so every year in Montana. Have drawn tags in Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Nevada. All hunts where great. Some hunts are tougher than others.
Wyoming 1 time. Great horseback hunt into the Thorofare. No success but not for lack of animals. Wind blew a couple of chances.
Colorado 3 times. Always fantastic hunts! All DIY wilderness bow hunts. Very close but no luck yet. Will put in for the muzzy tag this year. The kill will mean more to me than on a guided hunt which is required for non-residents in Wyoming in wilderness areas. The mistakes I've made in Colorado are my mistakes and have learned plenty from them.
