Question where have u found the most elk sheds?

I have found many deer and moose sheds over the years but hardly any elk. Do they drop them up high or down low in civilization?
Thanks

They actually drop them, at least where I find them, higher than you might expect. I usually find elk sheds 6000 to 7000 feet and I have found some monsters at those elevations. Of course I have a couple of areas that produce every year so that may vary a bit from north to south and from area to area.

Where are you looking?

Are you in a general area or a limited entry area? If you want good sheds look in one of limited entry areas managed for older bulls.
