Congradulations, that all looked really awsome, would be nice if I could do something like that in the near future!!!

Congrats on a great bull. You earned it hunting like that. 2 years ago we took a 7X7 out of a wilderness area 5 miles back at 11,500. Our group ralleyed to pack it out in 1 day and as luck would have it we got another bull just as we crested the ridge at 11,000 feet on the way up. 2 days in a row packing from dark to dark made it a year to remember. Last year I filled my bull tag with a 5X5 and was able to get a truck to within a few hundred yards. Some times it is easy and other times not. Great pictures

That looks like the burn area in unit 49 I know. Congrats. I know you guys worked hard getting that bull back to camp. It made that elk steak taste pretty good.

Better than packing 4.5 miles up and around like we did on one this year openign week of archery season. Brutal trying to climb 1000 ft up and out of a clay washed hell hole when its 65+ degrees. Congrats on the bull. Colorado is a fun place to hunt. WCL
